Choose LumaCaption when the cut is finished and you want to correct the words, style the captions and export the result. Hindi can be written in Devanagari or in the dedicated Roman-script Hinglish mode.

The free plan includes 20 Candy Lite and 5 Candy Ultra transcription minutes per month, up to two minutes per video and 1080p export. Exports have no watermark. Re-exporting an existing transcript does not use transcription minutes.

Descript documents a workflow where deleting or moving transcript text changes the video. Consider it when cutting an interview or podcast is the main job and captions come afterward.

Price the month you actually produce

Write down how many videos you make and their average spoken duration. Ten 45-second clips contain 7.5 minutes of audio before retries; that is a planning example, not a typical creator benchmark.

Compare that amount with transcription allowances, then separately check the longest single video, export resolution and payment terms. A monthly minute allowance does not mean a recording of that length is allowed in one project.

Common questions

Should I choose a tool just because it bills in rupees?

No. Currency is one consideration. Check the script, correction workflow and final export first; then compare the amount shown at checkout.

Does LumaCaption support every Indian-language workflow?

No. Check the language selector for the spoken language. The dedicated romanised mode is for Hinglish; do not assume it provides Tanglish, Tenglish or translation.
