How it works
Add and transcribe
Add your media and choose its spoken language. Sign in to generate captions; extracted audio is sent for transcription while the video stays on your device.
Review the result
Play the clip and correct names, numbers and any misheard phrases before choosing the final appearance.
Export and check
Download the captioned video, then play the saved file at its intended viewing size. Keep the editable project for later corrections.
In “Do not share your password”, highlighting only “share” gives the wrong signal. Review the focal word in context, especially for warnings, negation and comparisons.
- Short, direct impact
- Compare Smash, Boom and Blast for a forceful opening phrase.
- Playful shapes
- Try Sticker or Comic Pop when the tone supports a more graphic treatment.
- A different finish
- Preview Chrome or Varsity to see how surface and letter shape change the mood.
Choose the emphasis for meaning
Keep numbers and units together when possible. A large “50” without its percent sign or qualifying phrase can communicate a different claim.
Weight cannot replace contrast
Heavy letters can still disappear against similar colours or cover too much of the image. Compare the brightest and busiest frames, and use the available background or outline treatment when it helps.
For fast narration, whole phrases may be easier to follow than constant dramatic word changes. Watch with sound off and choose the version that preserves the message.
Common questions
Should every word be a different colour?
Use colour for a reason, such as one emphasis word or a consistent distinction. Too many changes make the visual hierarchy harder to follow.
Is bold always easier to read?
No. Excessive weight, tight spacing and small text can make letters merge. Test the final size.
Do these captions guarantee higher retention?
No. The styles give you presentation options; evaluate the result with your own audience.
