How it works
Open a live example
Pick a direction you like and try it on your own video.
Review three difficult moments
Test contrast, long words and the fastest spoken line.
Save a consistent look
Set colour and position, then export and watch the saved file.
A caption style sets line length, contrast, emphasis and movement as well as the font. Together they decide how the words behave over your footage.
Use the examples here as a shortlist. A sample phrase cannot tell you how a style handles a long name, a fast sentence or the brightest frame in your own video.
- Compare the same sentence
- Changing only the style makes the differences easier to judge.
- Match the subject
- Keep demonstration footage visible. A clip built around a quote can give the type more room.
- Build a consistent series
- Keep one base style for the whole series. Change the accent only when you can say why.
A simple style selection order
First choose the amount of screen space: a quiet overlay or a larger composition. Next choose how much motion the speaker’s pace can support. Finally adjust the type and colour.
Starting with a fashionable font alone can leave you with text that looks good on a sample and fails over the footage.
Build a three-frame readability check
Inspect a bright frame, a dark frame and the busiest shot. Look for letters blending into clothing or backgrounds, clipped long words and captions covering key actions.
A shadow, an outline or a background layer can separate the text. Preview at phone size after changing it, because small text that passes on a desktop can fail on a phone.
Match the style to the job
| Video | Start with | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Product demonstration | A compact readable overlay | Covering hands or controls |
| Spoken quote | Expressive type with a clear main word | Several equally dominant words |
| Detailed explanation | A steady phrase or restrained highlight | Constant movement on every syllable |
| Mixed Hindi-English speech | A style tested on both scripts | Assuming the English sample proves readability |
Common questions
Are styles locked behind a paid plan?
No. The free plan includes all 340+ styles. Paid plans change transcription allowances, video length and export resolution.
Which caption font is best?
There is no single best font for every video. Choose one that stays readable over your footage and supports the script you are using.
Can I keep my branding?
Yes. You can adjust fonts, colours and placement. A preset is not a complete brand kit, so check the result against your own brand rules.
