Twenty-two styles in Paper & Print
Newspaper-inspired treatments drawn by the caption renderer. The graphics are decorative, not real press clippings.
Styles shown: Front Page, Tabloid, Headline, Newsprint, Ransom, Clipping, Riso, Pop Art. Tap any style to open it in the editor with that look already applied.
How it works
Add and transcribe
Add your media and choose its spoken language. Sign in to generate captions; extracted audio is sent for transcription while the video stays on your device.
Review the result
Play the clip and correct names, numbers and any misheard phrases before choosing the final appearance.
Export and check
Download the captioned video, then play the saved file at its intended viewing size. Keep the editable project for later corrections.
If you emphasise one word in a quote, check that the emphasis does not change the speaker’s intended meaning. A short phrase can look authoritative when designed like a newspaper headline.
- Headline hierarchy
- Compare Front Page, Tabloid and Headline for a stronger lead phrase.
- Cut-paper texture
- Try Ransom or Clipping when individual words should feel like assembled scraps.
- Print character
- Preview Newsprint, Riso and Pop Art for different ink and paper effects.
A headline should preserve the meaning
This is a visual treatment, not an actual newspaper clipping or proof that a story appeared in a publication. Identify real sources separately when your video relies on reporting.
Keep paper from covering the story
Use the layout on a quiet shot or a dedicated title moment when it occupies much of the frame. Over a demonstration, choose a smaller treatment that leaves the action visible.
Long lines can become cramped inside irregular paper shapes. Preview the longest cue and simplify its grouping before shrinking the text.
Common questions
Does this create a real newspaper article?
No. It styles your caption text with newspaper-inspired graphics.
Can I use it for documentary quotations?
Yes, but verify the words and source yourself. The style does not fact-check a quote.
Does the paper texture travel in SRT?
No. Export video to keep paper, typography and animation.
